Chrome helmet, with apple green wings for the first time: pays homage to the 2012 and 2020 victories against Wisconsin while wearing the chrome. The reflective helmet famously reflected the sunset over Pasadena. The 2012 game was the first time Oregon went with the chrome helmet.

Green jersey: pays homage to each of the five past visits to the Rose Bowl when Oregon has worn a green jersey, but namely referencing the brighter greens of the 2015 Mariota-led Ducks in beating FSU en route to the natty game, as well as the 1995 Rose Bowl.

White pants: a controversial choice in my mind since they lost to tOSU in white pants in 2010, and have had really mixed success in white pants in post season games (championships and bowls), going 3-4 since 1995.
