Oregon 2026 Schedule

 

 

Those last 6 games will be a pretty tough stretch!

 

Some uniform-specific thoughts about 2026: 

 

Boise coming to Autzen. I hope that the Ducks go colorful since the Broncos will probably go all white with metallic subtle helmet logo?

 

At OKST. Last season could have been good Civil War facsimile, so hopefully Cowboys wear lots of orange and black this time, and the Ducks wear green and yellow.

 

PSU-Ducks should wear lots of yellow against green team.

 

At USC, would love stormtrooper please!

 

Back home vs Bruins and Nebraska: Please wear school colors against classic road uniforms.

 

At Illinois in the fall. I hope its a good yellow and orange matchup.

 

Halloween at home-you know they will do a blackout!!

 

At Ohio State-a retread of their last game there please!

 

Michigan at Autzen. Throwbacks to when the Wolverines lost at Oregon in 2002.

 

At Michigan State. Hopefully Spartans go all-green and the Ducks go yellow and white!

 

Home vs Huskies. Gotta be classic uniforms. 

 

 

Looking back and ranking of 2025/6 uniforms

With the 25-26 season wrapped up, here is a look back!

This season was long and varied with 15 games. The first three were very school-colored and then the Ducks went through a midseason black faze. The end of the season brought a bit more variety. Here are the number of the three main elements:

• Green: 14
• White: 13
• Black: 9
• Yellow: 6
• Gray (light and charcoal): 3
• All 3 mono: 3
• 2/3 same: 10
• All 3 different: 2
• Unique helmets: 11
• O helmet: 4
• Wings helmet: 11 

The things that stood out to me:

• Much less yellow than in past seasons.
• Only two times when green and yellow were evenly used on a set 
• No Bumble-bee look
• Usual variety of helmets, with only three shell/decal/mask looks repeated
• Much less O logo compared to wings 

My personal ranking (and commentary) of their combos. 

As with my 2024 rankings, I have a methodology that leans toward...

• favoring green and yellow uniforms
• liking "sandwich" looks that have matching helmet/pants 
• putting up with all three elements being mono (but not preferred)
• disliking combos that have NO school colors
• disliking white pants paired with dark uppers/non-matching uppers. Save this for stormtrooper look.

15. Shoedog 

I like the idea of special uniforms, but the final visual result is kinda meh. Too many small details like almost invisible marble and "inside-info" patches. Two different wings was cool, but kinda lost on the regular man. Charcoal black. gold, and white are not school colors.

Playoff Round 3: Peach Bowl, January 9, 2026

A crisp set that goes back to school colors from a week away from them. Green/White/White for the first time since the Pac-12 championship game loss to UW, and the Alamo Bowl loss to Oklahoma. The Ducks' blowout loss to Indiana will probably add this combo to the sets that fans will despise.

 

What this combo brings to mind is Joey Harrington winning the 2002 Fiesta Bowl.
