Week 13: Civil War-November 26, 2022

This is the third game not officially called the "Civil War," but I've yet to read any people who wanted it changed except the UO and OSU then-presidents in 2020. So I continue to call it the "Civil War." For the 6th Civil War in a row, the Ducks have gone mono, with this being a duplicate of last year's victory. Even the Beavers are wearing the same black/orange/orange as last season. This set is almost identical to the Georgia game this year, but with green facemasks.

Week 12: November 19, 2022

The last home game of the season for the Ducks, after a brutal loss to Washington last week. Wishfully looking to exorcise some demons, they chose an interesting combo here. Last year they wore this in a week 11 victory over WSU, and it's the exact inverse of their week 12 loss to this Utah squad. Looking to have an inverse result!

Looking back in history, this combo is under-represented, but there are some interesting times they have worn this combo. Before last season you have to go back to the Helfrich/Chip years and they seem to have worn this combo only 4 times before 2021. Before 2022, they are 3-2 in this combo.

Week 11: November 12, 2022

The Ducks went all-yellow against the all-purple Huskies. This was a rare color-on-color matchup for these two rivals. Unfortunately the Ducks ended up losing. Mono yellow was worn once last season, once in 2019, three times in 2018, once in 2017, and once in 2013.

Week 10: November 5, 2022

Eggshell combined with Nightmare Green make their second appearance of the season this weekend. A exact retread of last season's Pac-12 Championship Game loss and a similar combo to the opening game loss to Auburn in 2019...the Ducks hope to reverse that result with a win at lowly Colorado. Since Nightmare is almost black, i'll classify this combo as black/white/black. So using that metric this is the sixth time in the past 20 years they have worn this, with three of them occurring in the last 4 seasons. If you classify this as dark green, then this is the 14th time in the modern era of dark green being an option. Chip Kelly liked this combo.

So far this season they have not repeated a look and this is the third time that Nightmare helmets have been worn.
