2023 schedule

Looking ahead to the Ducks in the fall...and what that means for uniforms?

Two of their first three games are against teams who also wear green and black, so hopefully the Ducks will wear plenty of yellow at home. Texas Tech away is probably an opportunity for the Ducks to wear something similar to their trip to Ohio State in 2021. At Utah on Halloween weekend means that the Utes will probably wear all black. Veterans Day is a Saturday against USC, so maybe some patritotic items?

Looking back at 2022

Now that the Ducks have wrapped up their season and we have a long offseason, I thought I'd wrap up the 2022 wardrobe.

You can see this season—and the last 20+ years—on my updating spreadsheet of combos here:

The ducks did a pretty good job of using most of their colors. Here are the number of parts (helmet, jersey, pants) and games they appeared in:

Apple Green: 11 (5 games)
White: 9 (4 games)
Yellow: 6 (3 games)
Nightmare Green: 6 (3 games)
Black: 4 (2 games)
Eggshell White: 3 (2 games)

In general, they kept gimicky stuff to a minimum and only used the eggshell and pink in 3 games. But Apple Green and White were the favorite colors. Black was underused since they had Nightmare Green.

  • 6 of the 13 games were completely mono
  • 2 games uses matching helmet/jersey
  • 3 games with "sandwich" matching helmet/pant
  • 1 game used mono jersey/pant
  • 1 game with helmet not matching another element
  • No games with 3 colors used

  • Favorite helmet: Apple Green 4
  • Favorite jersey: Apple Green 4
  • Favorite pant: Apple Green 3, White 3
